Dr. Jacobs began her medical career as a family medicine physician before transitioning into aesthetic medicine more than 15 years ago and eventually opening Ooh La La Spa Anti-Aging & Wellness. She wants to educate and inspire other healthcare professionals on how to do the same. ART Academy will provide different levels of training in injectables and help medical professionals grow their knowledge in aesthetic medicine.
“Aesthetic medicine is truly an art, and because of my passion for training others, I have established this academy,” said Dr. Jacobs. “I want to help guide others on the art and intricacies of aesthetic medicine and inspire them to provide the absolute best level of care for their patients. I am excited to see our growth at Ooh La La Spa, Anti-Aging & Wellness and get the opportunity to educate amazing professionals in this field.”
Dr. Jacobs, an international best-selling author, has been recognized as a National Master Injector as well as a faculty member and instructor with Allergan Medical Institute for Facial Aesthetics as a Botox, Juvederm and Kybella trainer. Her expertise places her in the top one percent of Allergan accounts in the country.
ART Academy is located in the lower level of Ooh La La Spa Anti-Aging & Wellness at 110 Cottonwood Dr. in Glen Carbon. Dr. Jacobs will be offering one-on-one training and shadowing opportunities, as well as online and in-person group training.
