Have you ever noticed how some people always look “fresh as daisies” in the morning, but when you wake up, your skin looks dull and has no glow? Well, they might not share their secrets with you, but we will! Here are a couple of really easy things you can do to make your lifeless skin bright again:
- Get your beauty sleep!
And by that I mean eight hours of it. Sleep is needed for your skin to properly regenerate and heal and without at least 7-8 hours of it every night, don’t be surprised if you not only feel tired, but also look tired.
- Morning splash
Here’s something that should routinely be the first thing you do every morning – morning splashes. Splash some water on your face in the morning to kick-start those skin cells and wake them from their slumber. If you’re feeling brave, you can use ice. Just grab an ice cube and rub it on your face in the morning. It will stimulate blood flow and tighten those spores better than anything.
- Hydrate
Speaking of water, is your skin getting enough of it? Make sure to always have a water bottle handy, especially in the morning and before you go to bed since your body is about to go eight hours without any. Also, if you’re exercising, be sure to have some water nearby.
- Go out and exercise
A good exercise, like a morning jog, a training session in the gym or some pilates will increase blood flow in your organism and ensure that skin cells are well-nourished. So, get your sneakers from the closet and start training to get your skin looking radiant.
- Exfoliate
There’s nothing better that you can do to keep your skin fresh and bright than giving it a good exfoliating treatment at least every two weeks. Do this in the morning and your skin will be soft all day and your confidence over the roof.
