What is CoolSculpting?

We all want to be beautiful. That means a well-sculpted figure and no love handles or belly. Unfortunately, there are typically three ways (although they can be combined for better and quicker result) to achieve those results: a rigorous diet, a sweat-inducing, muscle-burning exercise and a sharp scalpel.

None of these ways to get a bikini-ready body are perfect. Diet and exercise take a lot of time and effort and surgery can be invasive.

There is, however, another potential, none-invasive way to get rid of excess fat cells – Coolsculpting.

Just what is Coolsculpting, how does it work and can it really help you achieve the figure you want?

What is CoolSculpting?

Coolsculpting is a non-invasive (that means no knives, scalpels or other sharp surgical tools) procedure that helps you get rid of fat cells by freezing and reducing them. The idea behind this is quite simple – fat cells don’t like extreme cold, so they die, leaving you with a more chiseled body.

This procedure differs from other, non-surgical fat losing methods in that it doesn’t require attacking the fat with heat, chemicals or ultrasounds. Since all these methods rely on targeting the correct tissue spot and depth, there is always a chance of failure, while with Coolsculpting only the fat cells are affected, while the tissue remains safe.

How it Works?

The entire CoolSculpting treatment lasts for about an hour. Coolsculpting technology uses controlled cooling (Cryolipolysis) to target and kill only these fat cells. In the weeks to follow, these fat cells, are reduced from the body are gone for good. Since the area that was just treated is still a bit numb and tender, you’ll likely feel a little stinging, but you’ll be able to continue your normal activities for the day.

Can it Help You Lose Fat?

First of all, Coolsculpting is not a quick solution and it will take time to show its effects. You’ll probably see the results a couple of weeks following the treatment when the remaining cells begin to condense and you actually become slimmer.

In about two months, full results of Coolsculpting will be visible, but you will need to make another visit to the doctor, who will then decide whether another session is required or not, although most patients need only one treatment.

All in all, the treatment is a good way for a normal weight person to get rid of some belly fat and have a flat stomach.
