How to Have a Clear, Pimple-free Face

We all want to look attractive to those around us, right? We dress nicely when we are meeting someone we want to impress, get a new haircut, and do all sorts of things. But a single red pimple on our nose or forehead can spell disaster for our date or presentation before it even starts.

It’s not easy to get rid of a pimple, but with the right habits and some good Skin Care Products like moisturizers, you won’t have to wake up on the morning of your important day with an ugly old pimple flashing at you from your reflection in the mirror.

Here are 6 ways to keep your face clear and pimple-free:

1.    Wash Your Face

No moisturizer or cleanser will help you more than a simple habit of washing your face regularly. That’s something every dermatologist worth his or her salt will tell you. Make your routine to wash your face with warm or cold water twice per day. This way you will remove the excess oils, dirt, as well as dead skin cells from the surface of your skin.

2.    Use Skin Care Products That are Approved by Dermatologists

With so many skin care products, including anti-acne ones, how can a person tell the difference between good and bad ones? It’s simple –only trust those that come from a verified source and are approved by beauty specialists.

Be sure to only apply those creams, washes or other products that suit your skin type. For instance, if you have oily skin, avoid oil-based moisturizers.

3.    Watch Your Diet

Eating healthy is important not only for your figure, but also for your skin. What’s good for your skin? Grains, vegetables and fruits. What’s bad for it? Junk food, chocolate, alcohol and sugars. Naturally, you want more of the first and less of the latter if you want to have nice-looking skin.

4.    Don’t Touch Your Face!

Okay, we understand that you can’t completely stop touching your face at all times, but at least try to minimize this as much as possible. Throughout the day, your hands have been everywhere and have touched everything and now they are full of bacteria that are eager to jump on your face the first chance they get.

5.    Sooth the Skin with Ice

Applying ice onto the affected area can sooth the skin and remove the dirt and oils that are trapped inside the pores. In addition, ice can also reduce any swelling and redness, so if you think your pimple might erupt like a volcano, apply an ice cube in a cloth (don’t do it without a cloth as you can get freeze burns).

6.    Relax

We know it sounds like dumb advice, but try to relax. That date or presentation we talked about before? The more you stress out about things like these, the more likely you are to get pimples on your face.
