We are so proud to announce Aesthetic Resource & Training (ART) Academy is celebrating its first birthday! The academy opened in June of 2023 and has been an educational space for physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and other medical professionals to learn the ins and outs of aesthetic medicine from Dr. Jacobs. Dozens of people have traveled to Glen Carbon from several parts of the country for these sessions.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Aesthetic Medical Practitioners
Dr. Jacobs offers one-on-one training and shadowing opportunities, as well as online and in-person group training. ART Academy provides different levels of training in various treatments and injectables. Dr. Jacobs goal is to help medical professionals grow and expand their knowledge in aesthetic medicine to help them advance in their careers. When Dr. Jacobs began her medical career as a family medicine physician more than 16 years ago, she never imagined her path would lead to inspiring the next generation.
“Dr. Jacobs is an amazing teacher and mentor,” said Dr. Czarina Acelajado, of Nava Medical Aesthetics in Huntsville, Alabama. “Prior to the training, she reached out and asked what my learning objectives were, and tailored the training accordingly so that I got the most out of it. During the training, she gave constructive feedback and was patient and knowledgeable in answering questions. You could tell that she is well-respected by her patients in her community, something I hope to emulate.”
